Masterclass Format

This VIRTUAL Masterclass will be delivered by IBICUS via ZOOM by a fully-trained leader. The timings are 09:00-13:30 UK time with a set-up / introductory meeting starting at 08:30 UK time.  Please note that IBICUS Masterclasses are not official IB PD workshops are any certificates issues do not count towards school authorisation and evaluation.

About the Masterclass

This Masterclass aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of the requirements and assessment of the individual oral

What you will gain:

  • advice on guiding your students in their initial exploration of global issues
  • how to support your students in selecting works and extracts for their individual oral
  • ways to help your students plan and organise their individual oral

What you will take back to your school:

  • a deeper understanding of the requirements and the scaffolding required for the individual oral
  • a range of ideas and good practice to support students in the completion of the individual oral

 

Please note that although you will receive an IBICUS Certificate of Attendance, IBICUS Masterclasses are not IBO-authorised or certified workshops and do not count towards authorisation

About your booking

Once you have made your booking, you will receive an automatically generated BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and an invoice (or a receipted invoice if you have paid by credit card). Shortly after that, once we have processed your booking, you will receive an email from us with further information.

Once we have confirmed that the workshop will go ahead we will send you a confirmation email and an information pack which tells you everything that you need to know about joining your sessions. The links to join your sessions will be sent to you by email around 2 days before your sessions start.
