Mark McGowan

Mark McGowan has been teaching in the IB Diploma Program since 1999.  He has taught ToK, English B and English A:  Literature and Language and Literature.  Mark is currently the ToK Coordinator at the International School of Brussels, where he has taught since 2005.  Previously, he worked in Greece and at the Scandinavian School in Brussels.  Mark is highly experienced in assessment for both ToK and English A Literature and he has led IB workshops for ToK, English A Literature and Language and Literature. In addition to focusing on the intricacies of a course syllabus, Mark’s workshops are designed to draw on the experience of its participants to create new ideas that can enhance student learning.
