Charlotte Tinsley

Charlotte has a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry and Master's by Research in Chemistry. She started her IB journey at a school in the UK more than twelve years ago; moving to Dubai ten years ago to take up a post as a Chemistry Teacher in an IB continuum school for two years. Charlotte spent the next five years working at an IB school in Abu Dhabi where she developed a Chemistry department from inception as Head of Chemistry and has enjoyed leading internal professional development with IB themes.  Charlotte has held positions as extended essay coordinator, university counselor and assistant diploma programme coordinator prior to becoming diploma programme coordinator. Charlotte has now returned to the classroom as a full time teacher to do what she loves the most. As well as a workshop leader for the IB Charlotte is highly experienced in assessment as an examiner for external and internal assessment and is an IB school visit team member.
